No Call Out Fee

Our call out fee is included in either the domestic fixed price or any estimate we provide you for any additional works.

If, however, we attend site as agreed and you refuse us access or entry, or the property is unoccupied and we cannot gain access, we reserve the right to charge you 20% of the agreed fee to cover our travelling time and fuel costs.

Fixed Price Domestic Fees

Our mobilisation costs and VAT are included in the price you are given. This offer is based on the removal of a single, normal blockage using hand tools and high-pressure jetting equipment.

Should the blockage be caused by collapsed or damaged drains or another means (e.g. previous attempt to clear not carried out by us, foreign objects not normally found in drainage systems, flushing of unsuitable items, roots, poor installation, subsidence) then we reserve the right to charge the extra time and or materials/equipment that is required to identify the problem.

If the problem is substantial (e.g. broken drain) then we will provide you with an estimate, but cannot guarantee the blockage will be completely rectified until remedial treatment is completed.

Free Camera Check

This is the use of a CCTV camera to inspect the works on completion only.

This does not constitute an offer by us to provide any evidence, video, photographs, plans, reports, etc to you. Subsequent full CCTV surveys can be carried out at an agreed rate and timescale.

No Clearance No Fee

This refers to the discussion prior to our arrival to set your and our expectations for the work. Hand tools and drain jetting are included in our expectation.

We assume that the blockage is of a standard nature (i.e. urine, excrement, paper etc.). Should the blockage have arisen through other means, for example flushing of unsuitable items, foreign objects, a solid obstruction that we would not normally encounter, more damage caused by attempts of other people /company’s to free the blockage, roots, broken/damaged drains, etc.) then fees would be applied.

If the problem is substantial (e.g. broken drain) then we will provide you with an estimate but cannot guarantee the problem will be rectified until remedial treatment is completed.

Free Estimates

Estimates

are valid for 30 days from issue and can be withdrawn at any time or amended in writing if prices or rates significantly change during that 30 day period. You must review the estimate and inform us if you see any issues.

Whilst we do our upmost to provide you with the most accurate estimate possible, any unforeseen circumstances or withheld information once encountered on site can increase the timescales needed, equipment, material or labour required to complete the works.

In the event of a variation, we will agree with you before recommencement what is involved and any additional costs to be incurred.

For larger projects we reserve the right to ask you to pay a deposit prior to mobilisation..

Payment

Payment can be cash, bank transfer or via a mobile card reader in GBP. By using a card, you consent that you have authorisation to use that card.

Please note a good connection is required at your property to use mobile card readers.

Domestic customers will be billed immediately on completion, with the balance due on completion.

Card details are not stored or shared.

Commercial customers and account holders will have a separate payment agreement in place prior to starting the works.

Access

We assume that there is sufficient access and parking available at the location of works, for a long wheel base van and that there are no height restrictions, barriers or obstructions.

We also assume we have access to the property for the duration of the works; that the access questions asked on enquiry remain true at the time of arrival; and that any drains, manholes, inspection chambers, etc. are readily accessible for inspection as necessary.

If there are any hazards at the property please inform us before arrival.

Any access codes, visitor parking passes, etc. should be provided to us by the customer on or before arrival. It is your responsibility to seek and have granted any permissions needed from landlords, letting agents, council, property/facilities management companies, etc. about our works.
